Coinz

MyBaberz is a private group-organizing web app (shared calendars, gift lists that keep the surprise, messages) for families, friends and teams. It is free to use.

Coinz are optional in-app credits sold by MyBaberz LLC. They unlock a few extras inside MyBaberz, things like opening an occasion to guests or asking AI to read a product page. Everything Coinz unlock can also be earned just by using the app, and every new account starts with 300 Coinz free. You never need to buy Coinz to use MyBaberz.

100 Coinz ≈ $1. Coinz have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, cannot be transferred to another person, and can only be used inside MyBaberz.

Buying Coinz

Coinz come in bundles. Prices are in US dollars and are the whole price: no subscriptions, no renewals, never any hidden costs. Payment is by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link, processed by Stripe; MyBaberz never sees or stores your card number. If you tick "save for next time" at checkout, Stripe keeps that payment method for your future purchases and you can remove it at any later checkout. Your card statement shows a charge from MYBABERZ COINZ.

Delivery: Coinz are added to your wallet the moment the payment succeeds: you see the new balance on the spot, and Stripe emails a receipt. You must be 18 or older to buy Coinz, or have a parent's or guardian's permission and use their payment method.

Coinz for a Cauze

With any bundle you can add an optional amount, up to the price of that bundle. You get 200 Coinz for every dollar you add, and MyBaberz LLC gives the amount you added to Easterseals Serving Chicagoland & Greater Rockford, from its own funds, through the charity's own public donation form. What you add and what you get are shown before you pay, and the add-on appears on your receipt.

The gift to the charity is made by MyBaberz LLC, not by you: you are buying Coinz, not making a donation, and nothing about the purchase is tax-deductible for you. MyBaberz LLC is not a charity. The charity is not affiliated with MyBaberz and does not endorse it.

What Coinz unlock

Coinz pay for a few extras inside the app. Coordinating gifts (wish lists, reserving and buying gifts, the reveal) is free and always will be. What an extra costs is shown in the app before you confirm it, and if something you paid Coinz for does not deliver (for example, AI could not read a product page), the Coinz go straight back to your wallet. Gifts themselves are bought at the retailer, never through MyBaberz.

Earning Coinz

You earn Coinz for using MyBaberz (your first list, your first occasion, inviting people, daily visits, gifts that make it to the reveal), and MyBaberz occasionally gives Coinz to everyone. Earned and bought Coinz are identical and land in the same wallet.

Refunds

If you bought a bundle and have not spent it, email us within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund it in full to the original payment method (including any Coinz for a Cauze add-on); the Coinz are removed from your wallet. A bundle counts as unspent while your wallet balance is still at least the number of Coinz it gave you. Bundles that have been partly spent are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or something on our side went wrong, a duplicate charge, Coinz that never arrived, an extra that did not work, write to us and we will make it right. Refunds appear on your statement in 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Earned Coinz have no cash value and cannot be refunded.

To request a refund, email hello@mybaberz.com from the address on your account with the date and amount of the purchase.

Expiry and closing your account

Coinz do not expire while your account is open. If you delete your account, any remaining Coinz are forfeited (an unspent bundle still inside the 14-day window is refundable on request first). If MyBaberz ever discontinues Coinz, unspent purchased Coinz will be refunded pro rata.
